Why Does Google Hate America?

I've been reading about the justice departments efforts to see what people actually "google." Google, inexpicably has decided to fight the government and protect the privacy of the folks who use their service. Why does google hate America? Don't they know that if they don't comply with the orders of the justice department, Bush will declare them an enemy combatant and whisk the lot of them down to Guantanamo or some nameless prison in Eastern Europe or the Middle East? Don't they know who they're dealing with?
As an example to the rest of blogland, I've decided to list my most recent google searches, so the government will know that I, for one have nothing to hide.

1. "lovely lasses with tight asses" (Ok, this was for a research project I was helping a friend of mine complete. See, nothing to be ashamed of.)

2. "chix with dix" (Same as above, research people!)

3. "asian pussy stampede" (Look, part of my Asian cookbook had been destroyed in small kitchen fire, this, believe it or not was one of the recipes."

4. "horny asian pussy stampede" (I wasn't completely satisfied with the above search results.)

5. "anal roughriders" (I was researching a "problem" I didn't want to bring up with my doctor)

6. "horny asian anal roughriders" (Again, I wasn't satisfied with the above results.)

7. "horny asian anal roughriders pussy stampede" (ditto)

8. "Belgian beauties bouncing on balls" (I have a thing for alliteration)

9. "Paris Hilton video" (looking for accomodations in Europe)

10. "William Sonoma" (trying to find drapes for the condo)

I don't know what the big deal is?

Get over it google!!!

Jack Be Nimble, Jack Be Quick....

Jack Abramoff has just shoved the candle stick...right up Tom Delay's ass. Haven't got all the details yet, but high-powered GOP lobbyist Jack Abbramoff is pleading guilty to corruption and other charges. Which means to those of you keeping score at home, he's turned states evidence. Are heads gonna roll? Who knows?
But on the other hand, Randall "Duke" Cunningham is going to jail, so maybe more will follow.

When are the real GOP conservatives and GOP moderates going to wrest control of their party from this incompetent, corrupt, greedy, fanatical bunch of dunder heads? If Barry Goldwater were still alive he'd be calling those bastards out. I do not blame W, he's just doing what he's told. It's guys like Cheney, Delay, and Rove who are shaping this destructive agenda. They are destroying their party and the country along with it.

2005 A First For Me

Here are a few things I did for the first time in 2005:

1. I went to New York City! I flew up on Easter weekend, saw the Black Crowes at Hamerstein Ballroom (twice). Visited ground zero and central park. Saw the Statue of Liberty. yay.

2. Visited three Civil War Battlegrounds: Franklin TN, Vicksburg MS, Pea Ridge AR. This is something I love to do. I have been to Shilo as well, but not this year.

3. Visited the William Jefferson Clinton presidential center in Little Rock - awesome. Big surprise there huh.

4. Met one of my sports heroes, Eddie George, in what has to be one of the funniest fan / pro-athlete encounters of all time. (I'm sure Nashvillian can tell the story better than I can)

5. Entered the world of home ownership by purchasing a swinging condo downtown with a river view. (got an Olympic size heated swimming pool in the basement ladies)

Well, can't think of anymore "firsts." As for 2006, I'd like to return for a visit to London, a trip I had to postpone to buy my place. And maybe this year I'll get up to Philadelphia, I hear their zoo, while in a bad neighborhood, is a world class facility. Rosie can show me where our founding fathers wrote the constitution. Blondie can show me where Skid Row parked their tour bus.
I got a feeling 2006 is gonna be the best year ever. Hallelujah!
