Good News Bad News
The good news is Pervis Payne has been issued a stay of execution. A federal judge has issued a stay while the Supreme Court hears a case from Kentucky involving lethal injection. The bad news is his appeal of the trial courts ruling that dna testing not be conducted was denied. Basically the appeals court said he's probably guilty anyway so why do a dna test.
Given the make-up of the US Supreme Court, it's highly unlikely they will find lethal injection cruel and unusual. But you never know.

Pervis Payne
I remember Pervis used to wear his church shoes to band practice. Sweat pants and church shoes. He wasn't being cute. That's all he had. He marched in those shoes.
There is no problem. He didn't do it. He had no money. He waited for his girl friend. He did not just get bored. He did not rape and murder a woman and her two kids. The state says he raped her and then he murdered her and her two kids. One of them lived. . why? eh? why?why? why? why?
What are we doing here?
The state wants to...a week from now. what now..? What do I do?
Has it been delayed? I hope so.
