Look Who's Not Supporting The President

Republicans. Namely Senate Republicans for refusing to filibuster the non-binding time limits set for troop withdrawal in Iraq. The American people feel like the war has gone on too long. They feel like the war has been mismanaged. They are not hopeful for what lies ahead in Iraq. You know who knows this? The folks on both sides of the isle in the House and Senate who have to face reelection, either in '08 or '10.

You know who doesn't face reelection ever again? W.

So he's on his own.

Last week I speculated that Harriet Miers was about to be thrown under the bus because of the US attorney firings. My how things have changed. She's not the only one.

Alberto Gonzalez! Come on down! You're the next contestant on - on...on...You're Fired!

Things have gone bad for this White House not because of bad luck. Not because of partisan wrangling. Not because certain members of their own party haven't been on board. Things have gone bad for this President because George W Bush does not know what he is doing. Things have gone bad because George W Bush is incompetent. Things have gone bad because George W Bush is a liar. The end of his presidency began the day he sent troops into Iraq. Because he lied to get them there. He sent them there with no plan to secure the peace. And he sent them there with no plan to get out. Worst president ever.
